SIMCO Song Da JSC

Song Da Corporation, one of the leading corporations in Vietnam, was founded in 1961. The corporation specializes in building, hydropower plants, infrastructure, transport engineering, civil and industrial works. trading and developing houses, offices, hotels, etc, .... installing power transmission lines and substations at industrial zones and urban areas. power trading. producing construction materials such as steel and cement. providing consulting services in construction. importing and exporting for spare parts, equipment, technology and manpower for local and overseas demands and other business fields.

With the great achievements and contributions to the country's development, Song Da Corporation was rewarded a lot of noble titles with 2 Ho Chi Minh Medals, Independence Medals, Labour Medal by Vietnam Government and State. Particularly, on 15th January 2004, the State of Vietnam decided to confer the title of Labour Hero in the Renovation Stage on Song Da Corporation.

SIMCO SONG DA Joint Stock company used to be the Centre of Song Da Cooperating Overseas Labourers with the main functions of manpower supplying, established pursuant to the Decision No. 19/TCT/TCLD dated 31st October 1997 by Board of Directors of Song Da Corporation.

The centre was upgraded into Song Da International Manpower Supplying and Trading Company in 2000 in order to adjust the economic trends. In 2003, Song Da International Manpower Supplying and Trading Joint Stock Company was established according to the Decision No. 627/QD - BXD dated 9th May 2003 by The Minister of Construction. the business registration certificate no 0103002544 first issued by Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City.

In the development progress, the Company has diversified the business lines and products. Manpower supplying is the traditional activities, others the company are currently operating in other areas. In April 2007, the company was decided to be renamed after SIMCO SONGDA JSC by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

The stocks of the Company, coded SDA, was first transacted in the Stocks Transaction Centre, Hanoi from 21st December 2006. The charter capital of the Company is 84,000,000,000 Vietnam Dong 51 of which is held by Song Da Corporation and the quantity of listed stocks is 8,400,000.

With the achievements and contributions, the company was rewarded of the noble titles by Vietnam Government, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs,...

In 2005, the company was conferred with Labour Medal, third grade by The Nation of Vietnam and Thang Long Cup by the People Committee of Hanoi City in 2007.
