DEMMER DEMIRELLER MERMER SANAYI TICARET COMPANY was first established as EKREM DEMIREL MERMER OCAKLARI (MARBLE QUARRIES) in 1969 with the contributions of DEMIRCI HACI OMEROGULLARI GROUP of COMPANIES. It has realized its first export in 1983 via SUAYP DEMIREL ITHALAT , IHRACAT , TURIZM (EXPORT , IMPORT ,TOURISM) Company. The company adopted the name ŞUAYP DEMIREL MERMERCILIK ISLETMELERI (MARBLE PLANTS) in 1984. It then adopted the name DEMMER AS. (Company) during the second half of 1990 and has been contributing the Turkish economy for years.
DEMMER is located on the 22nd km. of the highway between Afyon and Ankara in Iscehisar Marble Industrial Zone which is also known as the centre of Turkish Marble Industry. DEMMER AS. is located in a total area of 80.000 square meters including 10000 square meters of closed area. With its qualified manpower , innovative and challenging perspective, DEMMER AS. produces high-quality products at its own quarries for all kinds of specifications and quantity requirements and it exports its products to countries all over the world.
DEMMER AS. has recently put more emphasis on the production of traverten in accordance with the demands of the market. It employs 5 quarries for traverten production , 2 quarries for marble production and 2 quarry for Beige and 1 quarry for Limestone production.
Annual production capacity of DEMMER AS. is 50.000 cubic meters. 70 Per cent of this annual production is processed at the modern plants of DEMMER AS. Thus , its export capacity Per month is between 100 - 150 containers.
