We are located in the Rivne region, which is rich in deposits of basalt pillars - one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine. They were formed due to the rapid cooling of lava millions of years ago, and now reach almost the surface of the earth. It makes basalt easily accessible and at the same time quite rare. Basalt has a fine-grained structure, rich black color and physic-chemical properties that are excellent for construction. Over the centuries, Ukrainian basalt has gained notoriety in Europe. Paved streets, bridges and town squares, stone walls of temples, fortresses and castles, countless bas-reliefs and monuments still impress with their beauty and sophistication.
