Tuff is a variety of limestone formed when carbonate minerals precipitate out of ambient temperature water

Tuff is a light, cemented, porous rock. It is formed either by direct precipitation from air by volcanic eruption, or in the result of transfer of tuffaceous material by water and air streams.

This stone has such important for construction and architectural purposes characteristics as warm colour range, reliability, durability, heat and humidity resistance, excellent sound insulation and heat insulation, resistance to weathering, high frost resistance that goes with its easy processing. Tuff is widely used in architectural décor and dressing of household plots. It serves as a material for cutting sculptures, monuments and other elements of landscape design. In form of tiles it is used for making floors and as a covering material.
