One of the most impotent quality of Makrana marble is resistant to water seepage, because it contains 98 percentage of calcium carbonate 2 percent of impurities. Makrana Marble quarry are oldest one in India. After mining, these Marble stones are only used in cutting and chiselling. No other chemical treatments are applied on these.

According to the level of impurities, Makrana Marbles has different shades like pure white, white with grey shades and white with pink shades. it has very long lasting Shine and color.

1. Makrana White Marble: This is the most common type calcatic stone of white color used for building construction and sculpture.

2. Dungri Marble: It has slightly Grey pattern on white. it is commonly used for the flooring purpose without any chemical treatment.

3. Kumari Marble: It is the most economic type of Makrana marble. It comes in white color with grey or brown line patters

4. Albeta Marble: it has white color with dark or black lines.

5. Brown Albeta Marble: Brown color pattern makes it perfect for the use of building construction.

6. Makrana Pink Marble: Because of the stunning pink color it is used for decorative purpose in houses.
