Clean and Shine a Marble Table Top

Available in a wide array of colors and styles, shiny marble tabletops add a touch of luxury to any home. Clean marble tabletops with a mild, pH-balanced detergent to avoid damaging the natural stone. Keep your marble tabletop in good condition by avoiding exposure to acids or harsh cleaners.


Instructions as follows:


Firstly, add 1 to 2 tsp. mild dish soap or stone table cleaner to a bucket, and fill the bucket with 1 gallon warm water.
Secondly, dip a soft cloth in the soapy water and wring it out. Wipe the marble tabletop, rinsing the cloth in the bucket as necessary.


Thirdly, rinse the cloth with clean water, wring it out, and wipe away any soap residue from the marble tabletop.


Fourthly, dry the marble tabletop thoroughly with a towel.


Fifthly, buff the marble tile tabletop with a soft, dry cloth. Rub the tabletop in small, circular motions to bring out the marble's natural shine.


Tips & Warnings


Blot up any spills or stains quickly with a cloth or paper towel.


Do not substitute lemon juice, vinegar or bleach for mild detergent. These common household cleaners can etch or dissolve the marble.
