Onyx a natural stone is a durable and attractive option for a sink. With unique patterns in each piece, an onyx sink adds distinctiveness to a home. Just like any other type of sink, your onyx sink will get dirty and require cleaning. Whether you have an onyx sink in your bathroom or kitchen, cleaning it properly will help preserve its beauty without compromising the integrity of the stone.

Instructions as follows:

Firstly, wipe the sink with a soft cloth to remove moisture.

Secondly, fill a bucket with warm water and a squirt of mild dish soap. Mix well.

Thirdly, dip a soft cloth into the soapy water and use it to wipe the entire sink. Rinse and wring out the cloth when needed.

Fourthly, rinse the soap residue from the sink with a clean cloth and plain water. Dry the sink thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Fifthly, use natural stone cleaner for deeper cleaning of your onyx sink. Follow the instructions on the label for specific directions. In general, however, spray the cleaner onto the sink, then wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth.

Tips & Warnings

Avoid using cleaning products that contain bleach or ammonia. Abrasive cleansers, scouring powders, and scouring pads must also be avoided. Using such products can scratch, etch, or discolor the onyx.
