Moleanos: limestone, light cream color, background color with light greyish, or greyish blue background, in both cases with fine dots or brownish nodules scattered, grain more or less thick, more or less abundant, depending on the type of Moleanos. Limestone is considered a medium/high rigidity stone that easily accepts a wide variety of finishes, specially bush hammered and flamed.
It is a limestone of reference, internationally recognized, used in outdoor applications such as facades and exterior finishes, and interior: floors, walls, stoneworks.
It is extracted in the quarry area Moleanos - Aljubarrota - Alcobaça - Portugal.
