I want to share my experience so other buyers can avoid what I have gone through with Citadel Stone (contact: Kareem Klisharo). I have paid in full for TWO stone orders and have received 53 of only ONE order.
Here is what happened:
The February 2026 Shipment
My first order arrived with 47 of the material unusable. Kareem admitted he knew the shipment was damaged before it left the port, citing a Turkish Customs Inspection. He claimed he had loaded extra material to compensate (he had, but that was damaged too) and offered to replace the damaged goods free of charge in a second shipment. He suggested I add to that shipment to fill a container, so I purchased an additional $5,500 USD of stone and wired payment in full.
The Freight Bait-and-Switch
Weeks later, after delays he blamed on Middle East issues, Kareem informed me the freight would cost $8,800 USD ($4,500 inland, $3,300 ocean) for a 20-foot container. I checked with an independent contact in Turkey and was quoted $600 to $800 for inland and $2,300 for ocean, totaling roughly $2,900 to $3,100. It became clear Kareem was inflating freight charges to recover the cost of the replacement stone he had promised free of charge.
Held Hostage
When I offered to arrange my own freight, Kareem refused to allow me to do so, even though nothing in our written agreement or order acknowledgement required me to use his shipper. After several days of back and forth, he issued an ultimatum: pay his inflated freight in full within five days or lose the replacement stone entirely. When I refused, he kept my money and shipped nothing.
Where I Stand Now
Two orders paid in full. 53 of one order delivered. My project is two months behind schedule with added costs. And now Citadel Stone is threatening ME with storage charges and legal action if so don't pay his egregious shipping charges.
If you're considering using this company I'd suggest you explore other options.
