Limestone floors are appropriate for indoor and outdoor uses, due to their hardness and durability. The smooth,d surface of a limestone floor is attractive and easy to clean, making it a favorite choice for kitchens and bathrooms. If your limestone floor is showing signs of wear, you can restore it with some-cleaning products.
Instructions as follows:
Firstly, put on rubber gloves and goggles to protect your hands and eyes from cleaning products.
Secondly, sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
Thirdly, mix tile cleaner with water in a mop bucket according to the directions on the package.
Fourthly, dip your mop in the solution and run it over the floor to wet it. Allow it to sit for three to five minutes. If stripping wax from the floor, allow it to sit for five to 10 minutes.
Fifthly, move your mop over the floor to scrub away dirt and debris.
Sixthly, vacuum the floor with a wet vacuum. Rinse the floor with fresh water and vacuum the floor again. If your floor is still dingy, use an abrasive cleanser by following the next three steps. If the floor is clean to your satisfaction, you only need to wax the floor. proceed to Step 10.
Seventhly, wet the floor with fresh water.
Eighthly, pour abrasive cream cleaner on the floor.
Ninthly, scrub the floor with a nylon scrubber.
Tenthly, vacuum the floor with a wet vacuum.
Rinse the floor with fresh water and vacuum again. Allow the floor to dry completely before waxing it.
Eleventh, apply a layer of floor wax to the floor. Let it dry completely before applying a second coat. Be careful not to let the wax pool in the cracks between the tiles.
