Here are the steps to cut granite tiles:

1. Mark the tile: Use a pencil or marker to mark the line where you need to cut the tile.

2. Prepare the cutting area: Cover the area with a drop cloth or tarp to collect the tile dust. Wear safety gear like goggles and gloves.

3. Choose the right tool: A wet saw or angle grinder equipped with a diamond blade is ideal for cutting granite tiles. Make sure the blade is rated for granite.

4. Install the blade: Install the diamond blade onto the saw or angle grinder according to the manufacturer's instructions.

5. Set the tile: Place the tile on the saw or on a stable work surface.

6. Cut the tile: Turn on the saw and gently feed the tile into the blade along the marked line. Cut the tile slowly and carefully, keeping your hands and fingers away from the blade.

7. Smooth the edges: Use a diamond sanding pad to smooth the edges of the tile.

8. Clean up: Clean up the tile dust with a damp cloth.

9. Repeat: Repeat the process for each tile you need to cut.
